Our pet care professional will come to your home or a mutually agreed upon location for a "get acquainted" meeting with you and your pet(s) prior to beginning your service. This meeting is required for all new clients.

*If you request more than one consultation, there will be an additional $20 charge.

Dog About Town will keep 2 copies of your house keys on file. Your sitter will maintain one key and one key is kept in our office. This way there is always a back up should your sitter be unexpectedly detained. Your keys are never identified with your name or your address for greater security. Joining the Key Saver Program allows you to request service with only 48 hours' notice.

There is a $15 charge each time we pick up or drop off keys if you elect not to join the key saver program. You are of course always welcome to drop off or pick up keys at our office anytime.

We provide a full 30 minute walk for up to 2 dogs, and companionship, exercise, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement and medication administration when you are not available. In addition, we monitor your home by taking in the newspaper, picking-up mail, taking out trash/recycling, alternating lights and curtains, etc. Multiple visits per day are available as needed to meet the needs of your pet family.
