Uptown Dog Cape Cod was founded in 2006 in the spirit of combining the best for our pets. The best lifestyle, the highest quality food and bakery treats, and the finest accessories, clothing, beds, supplies and toys that life has to offer our canine (and feline) friends.

While living throughout the country, we returned to Cape Cod again and again, finding there was no other place like it. With a desire to settle, and even to retire on the Cape, our family found a home with plenty of back yard for romping, playing and relaxing.

The idea for Uptown Dog Cape Cod was born in order to share the great lifestyle our pets were enjoying with other pets and their people. In 2008, we added a small dog boutique on our lower level. Through our shop, we can offer 100% healthy food and treats to our animal friends. We are able to bring designer brands of clothing, such as Juicy Couture and Hello Kitty, and stylish accoutrements to our four legged friends. We endeavor to make the most of the beach lifestyle for our pals – from Doggles to lifejackets to soothing spa products after a day at the beach. The best dressed dogs come to meet and greet at Uptown Dog Cape Cod!

Uptown Dog Cape Cod offers the best for people too: great gifts for dog and cat lovers, breed-specific items, Cape Cod souvenirs, note cards, art work, logo wear, and cool hats and tees just to name a few.

Join us online and, for a greater variety of products - in our shop on Main Street in Falmouth. We are open year round. We love bringing in new products that are unique, fun, preppy, exciting and different from what you find in the big box stores and chain outlets.

Winston, Barclay and Lucy – Our Mom and Dad, Donna and Steve, own Uptown Dog Cape Cod. We are so lucky! That means we get the latest in cool treats, gear and apparel. Mom and Dad have lived all over the U.S. and even in Europe, but came home to Falmouth (Mom’s hometown) a few years ago. They have been involved in the pet industry for a long time now. They used to own a large pet sitting company in Seattle and Mom is certified in small animal massage. P.S. – This is Lucy. Stop by the store and see me, I hang out there a lot.

Lola

Lola – My Mom, Angela, is the store manager. She is a Cape Cod native and an expert in customer service and retail. What is really neat is that she brings me to work with her so I can visit with all of the great customers and play with my friend Lucy.

Peanut Butter, Sparky, Ava, Mr. Kittles, Sydney, Dream Girl and her daughter, Buttermilk Biscuit – Our Mom, Anne, works at Uptown Dog Cape Cod. She is a real animal lover. She also used to have a pet sitting business in Cambridge, MA, so she really knows about pets. She knows all about foods, supplements, dog clothing and just what toys will make us happy.

Humphrey, Tuck, White Paws and Luna – Our Mom, Jennifer, is a pet expert. Not only does she work at Uptown Dog Cape Cod, but she also owns a pet sitting business. She is so nice to all the dogs that go to Uptown Dog Cape Cod and she helps their owners find just the right food, toy, bakery treat or neat gift.

Lily, Coco, Charlie and Rosie – Our Mom, Sandy, works at Uptown Dog Cape Cod. She has worked in the service industry for 15 years. She has bred Golden Retrievers and just loves puppies!
